Terms & conditions

The agreement between you and PS Tours when you book a tour on this site: what we commit to, what we ask of you, and where each of us stands when a plan changes.

Last updated

This document is a draft and is not yet in force.

The wording below has not been reviewed or approved, and nothing in it binds either of us. Please do not rely on it. For anything that matters right now — a cancellation, a refund, what we hold about you — contact us and a person will answer.

Who you are booking with

Tour Estate is the booking name of PS Tours, a tour operator working across the Emirates. These terms apply every time you book a tour on this site, and together with your confirmation they are the agreement between you and us. Booking means you accept them.

Where a particular tour carries conditions of its own — a dress code, a minimum age, a rule set by the venue it visits — those are shown on that tour's own page and apply alongside what is written here.

Making a booking

A booking is a request until we confirm it. It is confirmed once payment has been received and we have sent you a written confirmation carrying the tour, the date, the start time, the meeting point and the number of travellers.

Read that confirmation. If a detail on it is wrong, tell us before the tour runs: the day is delivered against what the confirmation says, not against what was meant.

Departure times are the times we plan to. Traffic, weather and access to a venue can move them, and a guide may reorder the stops on the day in order to keep the tour whole.

Prices, payment and VAT

Every price on this site is in UAE dirhams (AED) and includes 5% VAT. The figure on a tour page is the figure you pay: the tax is already inside it and nothing is added at checkout. Your cart shows how much of that total the tax accounts for. What a price covers, and what it does not, is listed on each tour's page.

Payment is taken in full when you book. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers — see the privacy policy.

We may change a published price at any time. A price you have already paid does not change.

Changing or cancelling your booking

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your tour's start time. Inside that window a 50% fee applies, and a traveller who does not arrive is not refunded.

Moving a booking to another date is usually easier than cancelling it, and we do it at no charge where the tour has a place on the day you want. The full detail — including what happens when we are the ones who cancel — is in the cancellation policy.

Changes and cancellations by us

We run small groups, and a tour occasionally cannot run: a venue closes, weather makes a route unsafe, or a guide or vehicle cannot be replaced in time.

When that happens you choose between the same tour on another date and a full refund. What we do not cover is a cost you arranged separately around the tour — a flight, a hotel night, a taxi — so where a tour is the reason for a trip, travel insurance is worth having.

On the day

Come to the meeting point named on the tour's page, at the time on your confirmation. A guide waits, but not past the point where the group loses its own tour — several routes hold a timed entry that cannot be moved.

Bring photo identification. A number of the venues on these routes ask for it at the gate, and some enforce a dress code; where one applies it is written on the tour's page.

Children are welcome on most tours and must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them throughout.

Conduct on a tour

A guide may end a tour early for a guest whose behaviour puts anyone at risk, or who ignores a safety instruction or a venue's rules. No refund is due in that case.

You are responsible for damage you cause to a vehicle or to a place the tour visits.

Health, mobility and access

Tell us before you book if anyone in your party has a mobility need, a medical condition or an allergy that affects the day. Several routes involve walking outdoors in heat, and we would rather put you on a tour that works than have you discover on the day that this one does not.

We will say plainly what a route demands. What we will not do is promise an adjustment we cannot deliver.

Our liability

We are responsible for running your tour with reasonable care and skill, and for the acts of the guides and drivers we send.

We are not responsible for a loss that has nothing to do with how we ran it: a venue that closes without notice, a personal item left behind in a vehicle, or a decision you take on your own during free time on a route.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Custom tours

A private itinerary is quoted before it is booked, and the quote states what it covers. Once you accept it, everything above applies to it as it does to a scheduled tour — with one difference: a custom tour is built around stops and permissions arranged for you alone, so a change close to the day may be impossible even where we would like to make it.

If something goes wrong

Tell the guide on the day if you can. Most of what spoils a tour can be put right while it is still running, and almost none of it can be put right a week later.

If that does not settle it, write to hello@tourestate.com with your booking reference. We aim to reply to every message within one working day.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date above it is the date it was last revised. A booking is governed by the version that was published when it was made.

The other policies

These documents are written to be read together. If one of them does not answer your question, another one probably does — and if none of them does, write to us.
